Online Therapy for Women & Families in Utah & Idaho
My Approach
Therapy isn't about fixing what's "wrong" with you. It's about creating a safe, supportive space where you can better understand your experiences, strengthen your relationships, and build greater confidence in yourself.
I provide trauma-informed online therapy for women, mothers, caregivers, and families throughout Utah and Idaho. Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, parenting challenges, life transitions, or emotional overwhelm, we'll work together at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and attachment-based. I believe lasting healing happens when you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. Together, we'll explore what's brought you here while building practical tools that help you feel more grounded in everyday life.
I integrate evidence-informed approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®), and attachment-focused principles. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your unique story, strengths, and goals.
In therapy with me, you can expect:
A warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space
Practical tools for coping, emotional regulation, and resilience
Support that honors your experiences, values, and strengths
Therapy that moves at your pace, without pressure or judgment
A collaborative relationship where your voice matters
Getting Started
Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin exploring what brings you to therapy.
During this 50–55 minute session, we'll talk about what you've been experiencing, what you're hoping to gain from therapy, relevant parts of your history, and any questions you have about the process. This isn't an interview or a test. It's the beginning of building a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, collaboration, and understanding.
You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin.
What We Can Work On Together
Therapy is personalized around your experiences, needs, and goals. I primarily work with women, mothers, parents, and caregivers who may be navigating:
Trauma and overwhelming life experiences
Anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm
Motherhood and changes in identity
Parenting and caregiver stress
Attachment and relationship patterns
Boundaries, people-pleasing, and self-trust
Emotional regulation
Foster care and adoption experiences
Life transitions and changing family roles
Sometimes you know exactly what you want help with. Other times, you simply know that something isn't working the way you want it to. We can begin there.
What Therapy With Me Looks Like
My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. We'll make space to understand where certain patterns may come from while also building practical tools that can support you in your everyday life.
Depending on your needs, I may draw from attachment-based and strengths-focused approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®).
There isn't one right way to do therapy. Our work will be shaped by your experiences, strengths, goals, and what feels most helpful to you.
