About

Hi, I’m Sam Wilson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing telehealth therapy in Utah and Idaho. I’m passionate about helping women and caregivers find healing, connection, and hope—especially when life feels heavy, confusing, or overwhelming.

My work is trauma-informed and grounded in a simple belief: the relationship comes first. When you feel safe, seen, and supported, growth can begin—at a pace that feels steady and sustainable.

People often reach out when they’re experiencing things like:
• Trauma and stress responses (feeling on edge, shut down, overwhelmed, or “stuck”)
• Women-centered concerns such as anxiety, burnout, identity shifts, people-pleasing, or life transitions
• Postpartum and motherhood adjustments (emotionally, relationally, and internally)

My path to therapy began in the classroom—I spent years as an elementary school teacher before transitioning into social work. Teaching helped me understand something that still guides my work today: people often don’t need “fixing”—they need to be understood, supported, and given tools that actually fit their world.

I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Boise State University and completed internships at Tavon Learning Center and Encompass, both in Washington state.

Outside the therapy room, I’m a mom to wonderful girls, a partner to the love of my life, and a licensed foster parent. Our home includes adopted and foster kiddos, a couple of cozy dogs, and an endless supply of coffee. We love being outdoors—whether that’s in the backyard or in the mountains—and savoring quiet, cozy moments together.
